Frequently asked questions

Why is hay so important?
It wears down the continuously growing teeth and keeps the digestive system moving, which is essential in rabbits.
Should a female rabbit be spayed?
It’s often recommended: it prevents the common uterine tumours and certain behavioural problems.
My rabbit hasn’t eaten since this morning — should I wait?
No: a rabbit that stops eating is an emergency, so contact the practice straight away.
