Why act now?

  • Warm weather and human activity help it settle in.
  • It is already established in 7 municipalities and gaining a foothold in 5 more.
  • Public sightings make it possible to track where it turns up across the canton.

What can you do?

  • Report anything suspicious at www.moustiques-suisse.ch.

Home treatment from 2025

Under certain conditions, treatment at home will be allowed between July and October, using a biological product (Vectobac) supplied by the municipalities. Conventional insecticides are strongly discouraged, as they are harmful to the environment.
